Jetpack CDN was not reliably serving up images. So all tiled galleries are now regular galleries and the images are served up from this site. A bit slower, but more reliable

Create a new Garden inspiration page under Works to hold pictures of possible plants, shrubs etc for the garden.

Split Eating out into sub pages and added star ratings.

Modified the contact form so that it is only available to logged in users as we were getting increasing amounts of spam.

Added the following pages:

• Places to visit (picture galleries)
• Events (things to do)
• Links (things to do)

You no longer need to log in to access most content on the site.

You will, however, still need to log in to access:

• Our location: our address and how to get to the house
• Security: how to get into the house
• Cadastral plans: these reveal our address
• Holiday posts: family snaps

You will also need to be logged in to post comments on pages or posts

Pages and posts can be added to or removed from this list.

Created a Works section outlining our plans with separate pages for the various projects.

Moved the Plans page to the top level and arranged its content into child pages:

• Floor plans
• Maps
• Technical drawings
• Cadastral plans
• Historic plans
• History of the house
• Permissions

Made the Local Dishes page a child of Eating Out

Added “you are here” breadcrumbs to the sidebar.

Arranged pages into a proper hierarchy and added a site map page. There are benefits to this as I can get automatically populated lists of child pages in the parent which keep up to date as new pages are added into the structure.

Also removed all featured images from posts as these were not working well with category based post navigation.
