Just outside the amphitheatre, this restaurant has reasonable food at a reasonable price (for inside the Lucca walls). The decor is eccentric to say the least (and probably the main reason to go).

Very good food in a popular and beautiful restaurant near the amphitheatre.
Gli Orti
Good food and pizza. Nice place and ambiance.
Cibus
Not a particularly attractive restaurant, but the food is excellent. Pasta hand made on the premises. The best tordelli I’ve had.
Osteria del Neni
Busy, very good food, very friendly atmosphere.
Olio su Tavola
Has a good band every Thursday night.
